This half-hour program explores the artistry and the creative outlook of Faith Hubley. An interview with the artist, along with showing of two complete films reveals some of the inspirational sources of her work. In discussing Cloudland, Faith speaks of the importance of myth, primitive art and Aboriginal painting, describing how they influenced both the content and the style of the film. Tall Time Tales, on the other hand, was inspired by various theories of time that Faith has arranged in a series of fanciful interpretations. In addition to discussing the inspiration for her work, Faith outlines storyboarding, timing and other important facets of her art.
