Although there are many ways to treat cancer, sometimes the best possible option is one that has not yet been extensively tested: a clinical trial. Patients who choose to undergo such a treatment understand that there may be risks involved, but a clinical trial is designed in such a way that the risks decrease as more patients find it successful.

In this program, three women tell their stories, discuss how and why they made their decision, and describe their successes with clinical trials. Viewers will gain a better understanding of the reasons to consider a clinical trial; armed with this knowledge, they will hopefully be able to make an informed decision regarding their own situations.
